Welcome to Illustrated Clown — a creative illustration studio dedicated to storytelling, imagination,
and emotionally engaging art for children and young readers.
I’m Apurba Dey, a children’s book illustrator, visual storyteller, and founder of Illustrated Clown,
based in West Bengal, India. Since 2019, I’ve been helping authors, publishers, creative studios, and
independent creators bring their stories to life through vibrant illustrations, expressive characters,
and meaningful visual narratives.
My journey as an artist began with a deep love for storytelling and drawing imaginative worlds
inspired by childhood wonder, emotions, and everyday magic. Over the years, that passion evolved
into a professional illustration studio focused on creating artwork that feels warm, playful,
cinematic, and emotionally connected.
At Illustrated Clown, every project begins with one simple belief:
